Dr.Seuss’ The Lorax (2012) comes from the creators of Despicable Me and Hop and the children’s story from Dr.Seuss. This is a story about a twelve year old boy named Ted who is determined to win the heart of his dream girl, Audrey and bring back nature to his overly industrialized world. In order to do this, he has to discover the story of the Lorax. The Lorax is a story of a grumpy, yet charming little creature that fights to protect his world from land developers. The character voices in this movie are very popular stars. Zac Efron is Ted, the boy, Taylor Swift is Audrey, the girl, Danny DeVito is the Lorax, and Betty White is Ted’s wise Grammy. They help to bring this colorful and funny story to life. This is the third movie of this sort from Universal Studios.

Directed by Andrew Stanton (director of Finding Nemo and WALL-E) and written by Edgar Burroughs (author of Tarzan), John Carter (2012) is a movie about a bitter ex-soldier whose immature and daring actions transport him to Mars. This movie was predicted by Disney to be amongst the 2012 best movies. John Carter is played by Taylor Kitsch, a Canadian actor, best known for his role as Tim Riggins on the television series Friday Night Lights.

Upon his arrival to Mars, he discovers that 12-foot tall, green, long legged ‘aliens’, two of them voiced by Willem Dafoe and Samantha Morton, inhabit the planet and is captured. After escaping, he meets Princess Dejah Thoris (played by Lynn Collins) who is looking for saving. John Carter decides to try to save everyone from the growing treat. John Carter 2012 will show up on movie goers best movies lists.

This movie continues the saga from the movie Clash of the Titans after the Kraken was destroyed. The story line is great and you will be at the edge of your seat, wanting to see what’s next!

The story line is based on a struggle for supremacy that rages between the Gods and the Titans and their leader Kronos. From that point on its Action! Action! Action! Visual effects are awesome especially if you go see it on 3-D, which is a must see!!! This is one movie that I will purchase on DVD to keep in my collection of movies for my family’s entertainment. It is certainly on my best movies list.

There’s Eve, a young girl that has more power than is conceivable and she has to be protected and Selene is put in charge of her well being. It’s not just the humans though. There are Lycans and vampires that would like to do away with her, too. If you love to watch movies with lots of excitement you’ll love Underworld: Awakening.

When Corin refuses, Khalar and his mercenaries attack his village. Conan is able to escape and joins a group of acrobats. He lives the life of a thief, while Khalar finds the Lost Queen and holds her captive. The movie continues to follow Conan the Cimmerian as he goes on an adventure across Hyboria, to avenge the slaughter of his village and the murder of his father. His best friend, Daisy, who he meets in the retirement home because her grandmother is a resident there, tells the story, which is based on his diary. This story will move you and make you truly think about life. Once you see it you will understand why it turns up on so many top movies lists!

Check out a new movie from our best movies list – Sucker Punch. This movie will have your mind twisting in every which way. Nothing is what you think it is. Baby Doll is a girl that has been charged with murdering her sister (of course, she didn’t) and has been sent to a mental asylum where her step-father has arranged for her to have a lobotomy. Before you know it though Baby Doll has used her consciousness to escape suddenly finds herself in a brothel that is really just the alternative side of the madhouse. It’s bizarre and freaky and sometimes you won’t be able to say for sure which way is up but you will definitely be entertained! When you download movies like Sucker Punch to enjoy at home there is no way that you can have a “boring movie night”.
