Hugo is bound to turn on any best movies list of 2011, even though it is coming out late in the year. It’s a great movie based on book that is half graphics and half reading so obviously the kids love it. Hugo is 12 and he love machines. His uncle is a drunkard and can’t tend to the city’s big clock anymore so Hugo has taken over. He’s kind of an orphan and takes care of himself no matter where he is, even if he’s in the hidden tunnels of the old building where the clock resides. When Hugo is accused of stealing in the toy store, he has to find a way to get his book back and gets some help from Isabelle. This movie is about adventure, making friends, and getting by with what you’ve got. When you watch movies like this as a family it will give you lots to talk about later!
