Max Manus is one of the best Norwegian movies about Word War II that is actually based on the real life story. Max Manus is a very famous Norwegian hero who did a lot for resistance during the war. He and other young guys decided to fight against Nazi that occupied their country and they greatly succeeded in their efforts. You probably haven’t heard about lead actors before but all three main characters played by Aksel Hennie, Agnes Kittelsen and Nicolai Cleve Broch re depicted very lively and realistically. There is even a romantic subplot since Max Manus actually met his future wife Tikken during his fight against Nazis. No doubts that Max Manus can be considered as one of the best movies about the WWII.
