Steve McQueen (director of Hunger) has again pulled out all of the tricks in his bag to come up with one of the best movies you’ll see this year. Shame is raw and real and the characters could be anyone you know. But they likely aren’t. Brandon is a sex addicted man living in New York. He’s not the psycho that you have come to expect to see in this role. Instead, he’s a person with feeling that just desperately wants to have a real connection. He just can’t figure out how to find one. So he has sex. A lot of it. Completely out of control sexual experiences that leave him feeling more lost than before. And then his sister, who is equally damaged, comes to stay with him. This movie is harsh in some places but if you like to download movies online to watch at home you’ll want to keep your eyes out for this one.
