Best Movies List

Following the media hype surrounding The Hunger Games, I had to add this one to my must see movie list. Boy, am I glad that I did. This movie certainly takes a large jump onto my best movies list. Taking place in the near future, North America is in a world of feast or famine.

Divided into a Capitol and 12 districts, 2 representatives are selected lottery style to participate in the Hunger Games. These games are televised for all citizens to see. They are watching their representatives attempt brutally attack and eliminate their competition.

When a 16 year old citizen (Prim), is selected from a mining district, her older sister Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male allied Peeta are thrown into the games with bigger and stronger district representatives that have trained their entire lives for these games. This is certainly a must see movie and one that will remain on my best movies list for some time.
